my future tattoo
When I first saw this tattoo I REALLY liked it, i mean, I LOVED it. It’s so simple and colorful and they’re butterflies! I have always wanted to get a butterfly tattoo because my grandma has a butterfly on her arm. Then I was thinking, there are five butterflies in this picture…. one for each of the important women in my life. There’s my great-grandma, her daughter (my grandma) then HER daughter (my mom) then there’s ME then my sister. My sister can be the one by my butt. haha. just kidding. I just think it would be nice to have them each represent the wonderful women in my family. I could even do each of their favorite colors per butterfly. Something beautiful. I dunno…….. But I do want to get this tattoo. We’ll see how I feel in the next 6 months to a year. Cuz by then if i still LOVE it, I’ll get it for real!
UPDATE:: I still absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this tattoo… i just printed out a picture of it at the hotel i’m staying at in memphis tennessee so i can look at it everyday. i just wanted to update real quick some new ideas for the tattoo… i want to put a rune inside each butterfly wing kinda representing the strength of each lady, and their zodiac glyph as well… i want it to blend in and become part of the wing itself, so maybe i bit darker shade of the color of each butterfly and maybe even have the symbols look like the lines in the wings… we’ll see if i can find a tattoo artist that is as talented for how picky i am… i want it to be perfect…
